Help looking for an android phone for Tmobile

Hi, I know this is probably not the right place to post this question but I feel that this is the best chance for me to gather some information. I want to try out Tmobile, either postpaid or prepaid MVNO and I want to look for a decent starter 4G LTE phone. I was wondering if I can find one that is rootable, has a microsd slot and replaceable battery. any suggestion is greatly appreciated and again I do apologize if my question is out of place!
 
thanks! I just find out that an unlocked moto G4 play is supposedly compatible to all carriers. At $150, it may be worth an investment. Is anybody familiar with this device at all as far as rooting and whether it can actually do 4g lte with all major networks?

All networks or just the US networks?

FWIW I know my Oppo R9 Plus is 4G LTE compatible with networks in China, UK, Russia and Mongolia.
 
Not sure on the cheapest but I wouldn't skimp on specs. Minimum 2gb RAM, minimum 16gb user storage.
Look at the phones your interested in and check Network compatibility here
