Looking for an app to work with headphone controller

I have a Thunderbolt, and I also have a pair of Skullcandy Fix headphones. I like them, but the volume and play/pause button don't work with the phone. I just downloaded an app called Headset Button Controller (the trial), and it makes the center button work correctly, but it won't get the volume buttons working; additionally, when the phone is locked, pressing the center button doesn't do the proper function. Instead, it makes the volume go all the way down, and then shoots all the way up, which is bizarre...

Any other apps or anything that might help with this?

Ubermusic has an option to enable or disable headset controls, I think.

Ah, well, thanks, but I already have a music player I like. I just want my headphones to work, as I really like them, and don't want to have to return them.
