Howdy,
I love my HTC Evo and find it to be a great phone.
On many of my contacts in my address book I have four or five different phone numbers. Typically I will have 2 work numbers, a mobile, a home number and a pager or fax.
When I want to send a text message, I noticed that there is a "Send message" link associated with EVERY PHONE NUMBER, not just mobile numbers.
The problem is that if I am not careful, I may click on the wrong number and not realize it because the phone will allow me to create a text message to any type of number. And don't get me wrong, Sprint's Text-to-Voice service is great and free.. but... I would rather just have a way to specify something like the following:
"Allow text messages to all phone number types OR
Only allow text messages to MOBILE number type"
I have 3 questions:
Many thanks...
Doug

I have 3 questions:
- Does Android 2.2 or the HTC software that is on it have any way to control this currently?
- If not, are there any good apps that will accomplish the same thing?
- If not, where is the best place to post a suggestion to both Google (android) and HTC (phone apps/utilities) for a future addition of this feature?
Many thanks...
Doug
