Looking for backup app

When i had an Asus tablet, it had one of the best backup apps I have ever used - easy, fast, and backed up to a single backup file, which allowed for multiple backups and custom versioning.

Both I and my tablet were recently injured in an accident. I took the opportunity to upgrade to Sansung Galaxy Note Pro. I love it, but I cannot find an equivalent backup app.

Can somone recommend such an app?

Help is most appreciated.

If the tablet ran Android, use the same app.

Otherwise, I'd recommend an app that backs up to individual apk files. You can make multiple folders for multiple versions (but most backup programs will differentiate the backups by version number anyway, so you can have backups of 2 versions of the same app in the same folder).

I use App Backup and Restore, but there are others. (If you want to back up the app's data along with the app itself, use Helium or Titanium backup Pro (the tab will have to be rooted for Titanium).

Thanks for your help.
The description of Helium sounds good, but requires a PC connection. I would like the backup procedure to be independant of PC or cloud, in case the tablet must be factory reset (which implies no internet connection).
