Looking for better android calendar and put it in the main screen

Hi,

Is there any way so I can put my calendar in my android to something like the picture below? I know the picture below are from windows mobile, but it's better for me so I can know what is the next agenda, meeting etc.

Thanks, this is much more better. I've the original widget looks like the image on the right side in the image below but need to figure out how to install it.

Do either of these apps remind you of an event AFTER the event? My old calendar (old phone) would ring at the reminder time but would also keep reminding you every 5 minutes AFTER the event until you checked the phone.

That could be an interesting new feature for Pure calendar.

I've been looking everywhere for a calendar app that will sync with my google calendar and keep reminding me of appointments. A single "beep" when an appointment is due is useless. It needs to go off for 10-20 seconds, and then keep beeping once every few minutes until it's cleared, or at least for 10 minutes in case you're away from your phone, etc.

Right now I use a custom notification sound that plays a long note and then pings every 2 minutes, but I'd much rather have the app do it for me.

Palm has it. Blackberry has it. My old Nokia and Ericsson had it.

Where's the Android version?
