Help Looking for forum re: Agent app since it is problematic

pintree3

Newbie
I am looking for a forum or a place where I could ask questions, or find answers, FAQs, regarding the 'Agent' app. I could not seem to find any.
My 2 problems are:
The app is set up to stop incoming calls at 11:00 PM . in my case it sometimes vibrates non-stop at 11 and could only stop if I stop it manually.
Also
Parking Agent seems to have difficulty recording a spot, giving me always the same message as to me not having done so yet. Possibly I am doing something wrong but do not know what.
Could you please help with these questions or direct me to where I may do so?
Michael

I'm not familiar with this app, but is the parking agent just something that tells you where you parked? If so, Google Now can do that for you.

Thanks Patti. My stupid phone, or rather my phone company has bundled it with so much useless stuff which I can not uninstall therefore truly limiting me to the amount of software I can add so I am not in a position to add more stuff from Google (BTW what google app does what you say?) Agent has a few things other than parking, like it will stop incoming calls after a certain time returning a message in its place.

Pre-installed stuff doesn't limit your ability to add software, because pre-installed apps live in a different partition. The data for those apps uses your space, as do updates, but the original app itself does not. So if you uninstall updates and clear data for the pre-installed apps you don't use you'll have as much space free as if you were able to uninstall them completely (and if you disable them they won't be able to update or use more data in future).

If your phone is reasonably new, it should already have Google Now on it.

Assuming you do have it, here's how you can set it up to tell you where you parked (I discovered this last year & I LOVE it since I'm directionally challenged)
1. Find Google Now on your phone. On my phone, it's a blue square with a lower case "g" inside it.
2. Press the "hamburger" icon (it's three horizontal bars) to access the menu, select Customize.
3. On the "Customize Google Now" screen, select "Everything Else".
4. This screen allows you to tell Google Now what to offer suggestions or give you reminders of. Find "Continue to get reminded of places where you parked your car?" and choose Yes.

That's it, now any time you're in a moving vehicle, Google Now will keep track of where you (or whoever you rode with) parked. I find this incredibly helpful, not only for myself, but also for my best friend - who sometimes forgets where she parked. Last summer I whipped out my phone & we followed the map back to her car :)

Hadrin. Thanks, truly helpful. I wasn't aware I could safely do such a thing.
Patti: I would think to do what you suggest you need a data plan, would you not? I don't have such a thing (nor ever will). All my internet is done at home (or at work, which is also at home).
