Looking for Solution: Messages in one place

Guys,

I'm sure this has been brought up before - but I'm having trouble searching for my issue because of the ambiguity of the term "Messages"

Anyways - I'm hoping someone has found something that will work for me.

I got a Galaxy sII x, and I've always been a Blackberry guy...
My Blackberry put all my "messages" (NOT restricted to text messages) in one place.

eg: Facebook, emails (from ALL my accounts - not just one!) WhatsApp, Texts, BBMs, device updates... etc...

All of these in one ordered list... like this: (ok I just learned I can't post links in my first post... please see my reply)

With android - I seem to have to use this "notification center" which is very limited... I can't clear single notifications... And silly things like "power saving mode" show up in there ALL the time.

Additionally - it just says I have new email - but doesnt show the email...

Is there some setting, or app that can do this for me?

You can click on the notification and it should send you right to email or messages. There's probably an app causing that "power saving" notification, should be able to turn that off. Most apps let you switch on/off notifications.
