Cropping and enlarging from that size will not look very good at all. Do you have larger originals or links to where you got them from?

They are the originals, they were made to fit a Hero.....they look bigger on a pc than they are but on a handset they fit perfectly

The first one doesn't look too bad, the second had to be cropped at the edges of the logos.

This is what Eyebeam was talking about. It'd better to find the logos and start from scratch than to enlarge a digital image

The Desire's resolution is 480x800, from what I could find. Hope that's right.
