Looking for stable, NON 4G phone.

My friend currently has a Droid Incredible, and it's gone down the tubes for her. She's looking for a very stable and capable Verizon Android phone that does NOT have 4G, her carrier is an off shoot of Verizon and she does not get 4G very well.

Whats better than a droid inc? A droid inc 2! Thats what i had prior to upgrading to a droid razr and it was the best most stable android phone ive ever had. Im glad the razr is just as good in terms of stability

She's a bit strict on not wanting an Incredible.

It runs off of the Verizon network, so she needs a phone that is compatible with Verizon.

New or used? It's getting harder to find new 3G phones.

She does know that she can turn off 4G on the phone so it isn't searching/using battery for it all the time right?
