looking for used: lexus ct200h

hi guys...

this is for a friend... she is looking to get a lexus ct200h... it is the newly released model that is a hybrid.

she might go new.. but would like to save some cash by getting a slightly used car. since it is brand new model release this year, it is very hard to find used.

I have looked on autotrader.com and cars.com.
i have even looked at a few lexus forums..

any of you .. know of a good active lexus forum? or any idea of where online to look?

i know.. this is a long shot.. but I want to try.

Hmmmm that's going to be hard to find a used one if it was released just this year. Could go to a Lexus dealership and see if they can't locate one. She might have to go new because of the limited numbers of it being used. You will have to settle with a color you don't want or options you may or may not want.

So her choices are buy new or wait a few years then buy used.
 
nationwide.. there are about 40 used. mostly at delearships. certified used.

i dont get how the dealers are asking almost the same price for the certified used..as new. $36k for new vs $35k for used!

i did find 2 .. for sell by owners. but again the color is the issue. Black ext / cream white int!!! great concept, but who wants a white leather interior?
 
Doubt it as do you know how much of a hassle it is for them to keep their armor clean let alone a white interior
 
Have her check with what tax credits she's illegible for because it varies and this could swing the decision to buy new/used. When we bought my wife's Camry Hybrid in 2007 we got like $5k worth of tax credits from both the federal government and the state of Colorado. No idea what they are these days but I heard they were going to drastically reduce them on combined hybrids to be able to apply more to electric cays and newer technology.
