Looking for Video Chat app with text chat

Hello,

I am looking for an android smartphone app where I can video chat with somebody AND text chat with that person simultaneously.

Skype and Hangouts have both of these options, but when I go to the text chat I do not see the person I am calling with anymore.

Any ideas?
