Looking for Wallpaper Secret Button App

Hi Guys,

I am in the middle of a project at the moment, currently my Nexus 7 2012 uses ADW and I am trying to create a static desktop wallpaper.

Basically I am trying to replicate this sort of setup:

This has buttons on it, but with the limitation of where you can put widgets, I cant get it lined up properly and it just looks a mess!

Does anyone know of an app, which would allow you to set a desktop, perhaps draw a square around a particular part of the screen, and then set that up as a "hidden" widget if you will, which then starts an app.

For example, can I draw a box around a word "Phone" and set that as a button so when I touch that part of the picture, it then opens up the dialpad? or for TEXT, opens up SMS, or Navigation opens google maps?

You could do it with a full-strength Zooper or UCCW widget, i.e. a widget that covers the whole screen, has those elements placed on it and set to perform the desired actions when tapped.

Or else you need a different launcher, one which allows you to define a larger grid (so finer spacing), of which there are many, or maybe one which doesn't impose a grid (which there probably are, but can't name immediately).

Invisible widgets are possible (you could do it with Zooper, or Simple Text with a transparent icon, or probably many others). If you have the wallpaper with the images and just want to add triggers, and don't worry too much about them aligning exactly with the images, that may be the quickest way.

I managed to find the answer in the end!

Using Desktop Visulaizer, you can create a widget, size it and place it across the top of a button, and then set it without an icon. So its basically invisible and can be used to trigger any sort of event necessary.
