Looking to purchase

Hey, looking to purchase an android phone due to my current phone (Gifted iPhone 5) being outdated and not allowing battery changes. Are there any recomendations for websites/databases where I can compare cpu clock speeds, ram sizes, internal memory and battery capacities etc? I'm not at all looking for something new due to the excessive pricing, i'm just looking for something that will be good enough to not freeze too much and allow battery changes unlike apple products. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately 'non replaceable batteries' are the norm in modern smartphones. Having said that, you can change the battery on a lot of Android phones, it's just a bit fiddly. I replaced the battery on my aging Nexus 5, a supposedly non replaceable part, but it was fairly painless, given the right instructions.

due to the excessive pricing,
Once you narrow your choices down you can check swappa.com for a used version. It's a good site, I've used it multiple times with no issues. Sometimes you can get a really nice deal on a relatively new, barely used phone. Just be sure to read the description and comments, ask questions and offer a fair price. They aren't brand new (mostly) but, as I said, it's a great place to save some money.
