Looking to try samsung, any faults/quirks?

So i am looking to get a new phone to bring to cricket wireless, and ive narrowed it down to the G3/G2/galaxy s5. One of the things that kind of bothers me about the samsung is that the power button is on the left side of the phone, does this ever become a problem of accidentally activating when trying to play videos when laying the phone on its side? Ive also never used a phone with a physical home button, but i think i could get used to that pretty fast.

Its just all the videos ive watched on phones the amoled screen of the galaxy looks the best to me (at least as good as i can tell in videos lol). It seems amoled screens do the best at off angle brightness, which is a big deal to me because i look at my phone at large angles a lot.

Any info appreciated!

Hi, my "affair" with Samsung goes back quite a few years, I briefly tried other phones, such as the HTC, iPhone, and a couple of others, but always came back to Samsung after a month or so, or in the case of the iPhone a couple of weeks. But as the most important thing to me in a phone is a replaceable battery I will not be moving to the S6, it's time to go elsewhere, fortunately there are still a few manufacturers that allow you to "hot swap" the battery, sealed phones mean a duff battery is a new phone or put it in the care of a "professional", no thanks. I like my S5, but I would like to actually see and use the S6 for a few days to see if it is worth buying....

wonder if Best Buy will loan me one?
