Help Looks like Google Maps black outed my S7

GipseT

Lurker
Posted a post on the S7 forum abut my phone that stopped working (see below).

But now when I logged on to my cpu and started google maps to try to plan my traveling again without my phone this time... The phone has my position at the same place that was the last I used it on when it worked. Is it possible that Google maps have looked my phone in some way? It was the last program that I used... and how do i fix it if so?

(older post//
I got my S7 about two to tree weeks ago. Nothing much done with it or installed. Had it energy saving as I am in Scotland now and live in Sweden... and want it to work so I can manage my travel.

Today the S7 just blacked out on me had it in my chest pocket worked when i put it there and did not when I took it out. A bit moist in the air but should not affect i think. The green light still flashes (has battery) but my computer can not find it when I plug it in USB. Nothing happens when I hold power and home button down....

I am quite angry at Samsung at the moment (No other phone I have had has done this).... guess that also i a loss of all the photos and fun saved on the phone from the vacation :(

Any way what can I do if anything? Help much appreciated.)

Hi

The fact that google thinks your phone is still where it was when it last worked is not odd at all, it just confirms that it has not worked since. If you have Google device manager enabled (you should) then google does track your phones location as a matter of course. Otherwise you would not be able to locate it if you lost it!

thanks for all the response I manged to fix it... by trying all combinations of buttons on the phone again. must have mist it the combo the first time.
