Root Losing power

I got new phone Note 4 and after installing some old apps I've been asked to update the software and before click continue I noticed that I am having 85% power and just I plucked the power charger and click continue and start rebooting then I found only 10% power left in mater of seconds. any idea what is causing this issue?

I'm just a noob , but I would try to boot up into safe mode . And see if its one of the old apps ... like I said though I'm just a noob. ....
