Lurker
Somehow I lost the "Contacts" icon from my home screen.. It does not show up under apps button.. It does however sho up under "Settings" then "Apps" but only if I click "ALL" at the top.. And then the only options I have are to "FOrce Stop", "Clear Data" or "Clear Cache".. Anyone know wher I can find it to slide it back to my home screen?

"Contacts" and "Phone" are the same app, just different entry points to it. They do normally both show up in the app drawer, so that is a little odd.

With most android launchers you add an app icon to the desktop by long-pressing an empty space on the desktop, then selecting that you want to add an app. You should then be able to find it in the list.

If I long-press and empty space on desktop my only options that pop up are:GallChoose wallpaper from: Gallery Live Wallpapers PHotos or Wallpapers.

So your phone's launcher is different from most (I'm assuming it's the stock launcher, which will depend on the phone model).
Do you have any other ways of editing the homescreens? Otherwise we need to work out why the app is no longer visible in the app drawer.

Not that I am aware of..
