lost my contract phone

I lost my galaxy s3 after 2months in, on a 24 month contract what can I do about getting another phone?
 
If it's insured, then claim. If not, speak to your carrier, but I don't think you'll get a new phone without paying though.
 
Agree with David. If you have insurance through your provider or a replacement program like US Cellular has, then contact them and begin the replacement process.

Otherwise, you may need to sit down and calculate whether its cheaper to buy a used S3 on the web somewhere, pay the cost to break your contract and start over, or simply buy a new phone without a contract and have it activated on your account. Option 1 is probably your cheapest bet.
