Lost my EVO, any suggestions?

Fell out of my pocket in a yellow cab(I think). Left them a message with their lost and found. Anyone lost theirs yet? Trying to figure out the best way to go about the search, phone is dead unfortunately (battery life sucks).
 
Where's My Droid can turn on the GPS remotely for you, and if you happen to lose it in the house it can even ring it to locate it...

There was a post too where you can link your phone's GPS location to your gmail, kinda like phone lojack... Gotta see if I can dig that up...

I would probably just bite the dust if I lost my phone and use my old one till EVO 2 is out LOL... Does insurance cover lost phones? Cause $100 for a new one isn't that bad if they did...
 
Thanks for the suggestions. I am not sure about insurance. I am going to activate my old blackberry and cross my fingers that somehow it shows up. Anyone know if insurance covers a lost phone?

Definitely need to check out mobile defense. Although my evo never got me more than 6 hours of battery life so it is probably useless when the phone goes dead so quickly
 
another question, it doesn't cost anything to switch a phone right? so tomorrow when I go to call sprint and put my old blackberry on that number they dont charge me an activation fee or anything right?
 
if you have TEP thru sprint. it covers if the phone was lost/stolen.

it costs ZERO do switch phones. no fees or anything....

Won't be able to be activated on Sprint, still possible to activate on other CDMA carriers that accept external ESNs.
 
i lost my phone does anybody know what i can use to locate it......I have gps and google maps on it....not sure what apps for lost phone if any I have all the basic evo apps???
 
or atleast I'd like to LOCK IT if I can...this is damn scarey.....I have so much personal stuff on there...ughhh HELP!!!
