Help Lost my FB contacts

When I got my HTC One M9, one of the first things I did was log into my facebook. I think this allowed my phone to combine my friend list with my phone contacts, so that when I texted FB friends, their icon was their latest FB profile pic. I recently logged out of my FB and let a friend sign in to her account. As soon as this happened, I lost the names and pictures of all of my contacts that I had FB info linked with. How can I relink these accounts? Logging into FB hasn't helped. I am with Verizon.

Try clearing the Facebook app cache (Apps ... Manage Apps ... Facebook ... Cache ... Clear Cache)
