Help Lost my mobile

Hi guys,

Two weeks backs I purchased Micromax YU Yureka mobile, which has Cyanogen OS. Unfortunately it was stolen in a bus. The phone had pin lock as a security. I guess the thief would put the phone in recovery mode to use it. Is that correct? Is there anything I can do to make that phone unusable or find that mobile? I guess he would have changed IMEI number as well.

Did you set up Android Device Manager on the phone before you lost it?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for quick reply. I did not install it manually. Seems like it was already installed, because after googling more about relocating you phone, I found the link you given. It showed "Device unavailable" message and "last online on 19th Apr", which is 1 day before I lost my mobile. I guess, he might be switched off the phone or removed the SIM.

Hmmm, that could be.
At the very least, let your carrier know and report it to the police. (doubt the police would do anything but at least there is a report)
