Help Lost or broken?

So I've had Virgin for several years, and am still on $25/month. Pretty happy with service overall. I have had the Galaxy S2 for around 2 years. I see that they offer "deals" for lost/stolen phones, but my question is do they also offer the same for broken phones? I don't see what the difference would be, but they specifically don't say on their site that the same applies, although I have seen it suggested on third party sites that they might. Seems fuzzy though. Any ideas either way? I am thinking I will just upgrade to S5 but was wondering if I can get a deal or discount. I'm assuming someone else has dealt with this issue or knows and can help me. Thanks in advance.
 
Also, sorry if it has been brought up before. I tried searching for the topic but couldn't find relevant answers. I saw that there is a one year partial warranty but I am past that I know.
