lost phone without a finder installed

my daughter has lost her mobile phone unfortunately we had not installed any tracking software onto it. the battery also ran flat before we had the opportunity to ring it. I did have an app on my phone which i used previously but lostt the data when oi had to do a factory reset on it. the app i had previously showed me a map with dots where the phone had been and a different icon to show its current position. i cant seem to find the app again. does anyone know what the app is called or can anyone recommend an alternative. many thanks
 
Unfortunately, if you dont have the phone, and the battery is dead, there is nothing you can do except for look for it. If the battery is dead, even verizon wont be able to find it.
 
Unless you can find that phone the old-fashioned way (which worked in the past million years!) you should consider that phone, with a flat battery, a goner...

Are you sure your daughter doesn't just want the latest model so that this disappearance is a convenient coincidence?
I've had that happen a number of times...
