Lost pictures

[Android Question]

I can see a picture and it states i have 398 picture. I was told the pictures are in screenshots. I don;t understand. Please advise. Also explain screenshots. I am not too phone savvy. So please explain in details. Also these pictures was taken before i purchase a memory or sim card. Which i thought came with the phone. Please advise asap. Thank you. God bless

Screenshots are literally a snapshot of what is present on your screen when a "SCREENSHOT" is taken,as if you took a photograph of your phone screen w/another device (camera).

A pretty cool feature actually.

Screenshots are taken usually w/a combination of buttons depressed,or,in some instances,w/a swiping gesture,as w/the SAMSUNG GALAXY S4.

I'd suggest a look at your phone's website,as the features of the phone are usually well demonstrated w/video &/or a thorough explanation.
