Lots of Google Play Charges That Aren't Mine

I just got a whopper of an American Express bill with a whole bunch of charges bunched around April 9 and April 10. These charges are mostly marked "Google Play Pymt Service" and range from $13 and $32.

I am a very light app user (99 cent game here and there), and believe my account has been compromised. I have contacted AMEX and disputed the charges, but is there any way to see exactly what was downloaded? Has anyone else experienced this?
 
If they used your Google account to make these charges, you should be able to get an itemized list of purchases by going to Google Play, log in and go to My Orders & devices.

When I buy an app, google will send me a receipt to my gmail account, and it will usually say the name of the app.
 
Could the problem be the credit card rather than the Google Play account? Could someone have my credit card info and be using their own Google account?

How do you log in to Google Play to check the list of downloads?

If you haven't received any notifications from Google Play each time a purchase was made, then yes....this seems highly probably someone else may be using your card on their acct. If that's the case, then you wouldn't see those purchases when you log into your acct.
 
I think all someone needs is you gmail user name and password to get access to the store in your name. They can then download apps and the charges will go on your credit card...and they won't need any of you card info.

But, if you can see the bogus apps on your google account download list, as described above, then I don't think your card has been compromised...just your account credentials. In this case, change your password immediately to block further unauthorized access.
 
I had an another problem. Several transactions last 10 months just recently discovered,made ever month.I made appx 10 to 20 $ n transactions. Ever month,but have discovered a lot more unauthorized charges additionally made,I have disputed charges after only Google agreed to refund $ but am still due 60. For this month alone. I posted to their support and at vcharges.com/sears-com-9301-4f . Any other ideas?
 
possible you signed up for some Google services you didn't intend to by accident (All-Access music)?

when i actually used Play services i remember the little receipt email coming in days later. not exactly prompt if you ask me. but given Google's knack for being unreliable 99% of the time it does not surprise me. they have even put 'holds' on purchases despite being well within my limit on my card.
 
Check with Google cause they do make mistakes and will give back or if not you can dispute on your card . but check your statement and see if its all the same developer cause I had a dev that gave me 600.00 yes they gave me 600.00 in a return transaction . and when I reported it to them in a email he gave me a FREE DOWNLOAD . Dont know how they did it but it can be a mistake from Google . other thing is did you see the scam that was going on where they copied a Google page to trick you into providing your sign in info. Some laughed and said not me but in the end it was a lot of us. Now Google has a major problem going on since they did some updates and security patches from this open source thing . I recently tried to build another ROM but can't get the play store to update but it also say that my vending file is outdated . I guess this is the dropping of the CDMA . but I am still trying to fix this but every where I see its Google updates.
