Low In Call Volume with 11S

So I had this 1 + 1 for a couple days now and my in call volume was horrible. I couldn't hear anything. Even speakerphone was bad. My headset volume from my nexus was louder then the 1+1's speakerphone maxed out, it was that bad. I know it's not the hardware because the pair of JBLs in there rock when I'm listening to pandora or notifications/ringtones. it just seems to be the in call volume that sucks.

I also noticed 11S doesn't show LTE, there is only a 4G icon instead. Speed test checked out.

The forums over at oneplus.net have users experiencing odd problems with call volume. Some say it's too quite, others say its perfect, and even others say it's to loud. There is mention of editing some system file, but I didn't dig deep enough into it. Instead I decided to try loading the regular CM11 on it. I went with a nightly release just to get the latest and greatest and my call volume was sufficiently improved over speakers. It's still a lot quieter then media volume, but there is an improvement. I'm also getting my LTE symbol now.

I hear there will be an update to 11S sometime in the near future that should address the call volume issue. I'll have to load that back over when it's released and see.

Has anyone else on this forum experienced this? What did you do to fix it? On an unrelated topic, is there a way to backup my apps and settings so I don't have to re download and configure them when I flash a different OS?

The speakers/call volume are fine w/my 1+1 (stock).
The only thing that I'm looking forward to is a mic sensitivity fix, which has been logged & supposedly will be addressed in the next update.
Some have reported that it doesn't pick-up voice commands (OK GOOGLE,etc...) very well unless you speak in a unnaturally loud way.

I saw a thread on XDA that mentioned a fix for that, editing the value above the stock setting (I believe it was @ 84,can adjust upwards to 100).
It's something you'd have to edit (root),not a parameter in the desktop settings.
On my phone, seems voice commands is the only thing affected,I have no problems w/phone calls on either end of the conversation.

Other than that,I have virtually no quality issues w/my 1+1,hardware or software.

Check your sound/volume settings. My volume levels seem to be ok.

After switching to 11 it was fine and then today I loaded stock 11S back on it and it was still fine. Must have been a glitch on my original load. I still don't get an lte icon but that's just the build. I used titanium backup for my apps.
