This morning I grabbed my phone to check for messages before heading off to work and find there was and update downloaded and ready to install. I figured "can't hurt much" [as I left my phone stock after many root problems with Marshmallow] so I hit "install" and watched the process complete. Checked the "system info" and saw it is now ZV9.
I'm thinking this is just another "security" update, but how are we to know when we can't get the proper access to check? My phone seems to respond slightly better after the update but I'm holding my breath on that. I'll wait to see what happens when multiple cache files build up and eat most of the available storage space. (though there isn't much left to begin with. Thanks to the bloatware and lack of hardware capacity)
