LTE in LA!

Driving into downtown for work today, I did a double take as my HTC One showed the previously unfamiliar 4G-LTE symbol - live testing at least somewhere near downtown LA started today.

Sonic 4G 2.0 also getting LTE signal (using it now in my office tower) - speeds are not anything super fast right now down (4-5 Mbs), but upload (7-10 Mbs) and ping (25-50ms) much faster than I'm used to on HSPA+. Hope they dial up the download speeds when it's officially lit up here.

Can definitely confirm 4g Lte. 4g Lte Tmobile was live all day on my Note 2. Getting 27.73Mbps download and 12.59 Mbps upload consistently when checking numerous times with speedtest.net.

I saw that too! I thought I was seeing things for a bit since I was half asleep when I saw the symbol and couldn't believe it. It looks like it's back to basic 4G today though.

Edit: Scratch that. In the middle of typing that my Lte symbol literally just popped back up. I guess it didn't extend past North Hollywood yet to the rest of the valley area since it was on at a friend's house but off at mine, but after just passing the area again it's back on once more.
