LTE Roaming in Canada

I was in Edmonton last week and all the local carriers (Bell, Rogers etc.) were advertizin 4G LTE service. Has there been any work on Verizon entering LTE roaming agreements?

I use a Bell sim for my iPad and thier 3G GSM service is pretty good. I know that is a different system, but if they roll out a compatable LTE network, roaming or a local sim might be a good option.

Just curious if anyome has heard anything.

Bumping my own thread to ask the question again. Anyone heard anyting about LTE roaming deals? I just switched to a Rezound and using the phone info app I know see Global LTE as an option under prefered networks.

I expect LTE roaming to come about, I'm just curious how soon, how much and will unlimited data carry over.
