Lumos for Android?

I used to have an app called Lumos for windows mobile which had the ability to force a custom brightness level upon launching a certain application. I know there are many android apps that give widgets or other quick access to brightness controls, but Lumos was just SO convenient, I opened an app which I programmed for maximum brightness and the display would just change automatically.

Is there anything like that at all for Android? I've checked the market repeatedly but I couldn't find anything.
Thanks in advance!

Nothing like this...?

you can achieve the same results using Tasker. Tasker does so much more, too.
