Frankly, I prefer "stalker" but I suppose that's a little too creepy.

Is it even more creepy that I had exactly the same thought as Luna, before I saw his comment? Should I be worried?

Ah, to be a Lurker and unaffected by this bunch of loonies. Them was the good ol' days
Welcome to the madhouse @LindaRae and @JoeyMarie. All of us started as lurkers, then once we figured out how nice and engaging the other members were here, we posted a lot and got new titles.
If I'm not mistaken, the titles go

Newbie after 10 posts
Well-known member after 100 posts
Android Enthusiast after (not sure, it could be 200 or 500)
Android Expert after 1,000 posts
There are also custom titles for developers and staff, but those are at the discretion of the site admin, @Phases.

I have never been on this site - why does it say lurker

As stated in the first 2 or 4 posts, all of us started out with that name. I'ts auto assigned with the forum software.
It was either "lurker" or "stalker" so the vote was cast for the former.
But of course
looks fitting too !
