Pixel Ants simulates animal life in the form of a scientifically accurate Ant Colony!

- Ants gather food on your home screen
- Feed, Confuse, Kill or Create your ants by touching the screen
- Options allow every aspect of the colony to be changed, including:
  • Frames per second
  • Zoom level
  • Colors
  • Ant movement, behaviour and amount
  • Ant death and reproduction based on food collected by ants
  • Food generation
  • Pheromone trails and the ants reactions to them
  • Whether to show a main nest and where it should be position
  • Action to perform on touch - allows placing food, pheromones and killing or creating ants

It was designed to look retro, with just pixel graphics (you gotta love retro!). But all the colours can be customized. Also every single simulation variable can be tweaked and played around with.

Give it a download, it looks much less confusin when you see it in action - I will have to record a video soon.
 
Update 1.1.0 Released!

First off let me say thanks for all the positive feedback and purchases we have recieved.
Several people mentioned that the wallpaper was a system hog and got boring quite quickly - this update will hopefully solve both these issues.

Performance
- Performance increased by 20% !
- Touch interaction much smoother
- Moving between homescreens much smoother (thanks jgittins)
Interaction
- [Pro Version] Watching and feeding your ants gets old quick for some of you, so now you can feed, control, destroy and create with customizable touch interaction!
--Customization options found within the 'General' sub menu
--Options include adding pheromones and killing or creating ants (depending on your mood I suppose)
Other
- [Pro Version] Nest location can now be changed - look under 'Nest' sub menu
Slider inputs within preferences now correctly show default values on install
