To dry your cell phone take off any removable parts and put it in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours to absorb all the water.
Doesn't always work, but it's the best way.

This is probably too late, and as mentioned the rice trick does not always work.
In fact, and this is more for the readers as you have already possibly done too much damage, but if ever again your phone gets wet, immediately pull out the battery and never, ever try to turn it on right away. Best to just let it dry out for a day or three, and/or even dip it into some rubbing alcohol and let it dry some more before replacing the battery and trying to power it up.
