Hey folks
I have recently upgraded to a M12 pro with sdpif output.
This is connected to my LG processor via an optic cable.
Upon finding files on Kodi with 5.1 audio my processor only picks up 2ch audio.
I have set the M12 to spdif in the box settings.
Set the Kodi system settings as follows
Number of channels : (2.0 and 5.1)... tried both.
Output configuration : optimized
Resample quality : high
Allow pass thru : checked and blue
Pass through output device: GREYED out cannot change
Dolby digital(ac3 capable receiver): checked and blue
Enable Dolby digital (ac3) transcoding: checked and blue
Dts capable receiver : checked and blue
All the items checked have worked for other people with different boxes.
Some say set audio to 2.0 for the 5.1 to work.
Others say they greyed audio output device is to blame.
Can anyone help me
