M6 Smart tv problem

Hi everyone
New to the forum
I recently purchased a android M6 smart tv box which has for the last week or so ran fantastically well, however today it just kept stopping and starting, so I thought maybe it needs a clear out as the kids had so much running on it, so I pressed factory reset and it seems I've lost everything we had. On the page where it says weather, pictures,videos, music and settings normally below this we had the likes of Istream, mash up, cartoon hd these are what have disappeared, now the wife and kids are in a right mood haha can anyone help me get this resolved or will I have to get it sent away thanks in advance
 
Hello and welcome to the forums. Sorry about the kids and wife feelings but u deleted all of what they have saved . when you did the reset did it work if so . I learned to close all of the open shows your not watching at sometime .

We have tried everything to get these back, we've been in every setting but to be honest we don't know what we are looking for. Within the settings everything still seems to be there and running but it's trying to get access to it wer hoping there's a magic button that will bring it all back

Thanks for reply we tried the reset and it has not come back on grrrr
Like I said before it seems to all still be there running along in the background but we just can not seem to find how or whether we can re install it any help would be much appreciated thanks

It's an android M6 smart box all it says on the actual box is-
Smart tv box
Model - m6
Dc in 12v_ 2a

Sorry can't find anything else to do with the box hope this helps
 
All we have tried is to switch off and re boot they is a couple of options saying like , allow Xbmc to import video library etc but we wouldn't know where to start
 
I think you have it set up wrong . not the wiring I think the setting of the system

We wer told when we bought it from the shop all we had to do was switch it on and connect to our wifi using our password, and it did work until I hit the factory reset button and cleared the lot. But we didn't have to set anything up only plug and switch on the program's or settings wer already installed before purchase. Will look at that link now thanks mate
 
The reset was to put you back to the settings it had when you brought but since it didn't you can get it personalized from looking at these

This morning we used all your information to get our smart box tv back on and I have to say everything is working perfect, can I say thank you from all my family and myself and if I ever bumped into you I shall shake your hand and buy you a pint as you got me out the doghouse thanks again
