I have a Amlogic M8 Android TV box, that uses Android 4.4.2, that is having a Netflix quality issue. When viewing movies or series the first 10-15 seconds are really poor quality before it adjusts and produce good quality video. This happens on every movie and every episode of series. Really annoying. Is there a way to fix this, so that the quality is good from 1st second? (I use wired ethernet)

Sounds like Netflix determining and optimising the speed and quality of the stream. There's nothing in the preferences about bandwidth usage is there? I don't use it myself.
Yes, that is probably what happens, but it is extremely irritating that it needs to do that for every film or series every time. I would like it to just start in HD at once. (I don't know if it's actually HD, but at least good quality). There are only one choice under "Settings" in Netflix on this device, and that is "WI-FI only" for streaming.. Could there be any secret menus? How do I access them if it is?
