M8 android TV box won't turn on

Hi guys hopefully someone can help I have just got a second m8 android TV box to use upstairs we have the same box downstairs without any problems

It arrived today and all seemed fine i installed a few kodi add ons and had no trouble however when I tried to play something in kodi the whole box seemed to freeze then eventually went to the home screen but nothing would move I turned the box off then back on however when turning it back on the blue light at the front just briefly comes on then goes off and the box doesn't come on

I have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it

I'd speak to your supplier and ask about returning the product it definitely sounds faulty. You could try a hard reset...

I have the problem with the remote not turning the unit on. I have to unplug it and plug it back in... then it comes on. Until it's rectified, my fix is to leave the unit on all the time.

Try switching the PSU, or the unit may have burn't out unfortunately
