M8 TT TV BOX Android Player stuck on Android system recovery - Volume buttons not moving.

Hi there.

I apologise if there is already a thread on this.

I just happen to use Reboot.apk and the latest firmware for this android box. However as I am on the recovery screen, there are options to:

reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from EXT
apply update from cache
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition

it suggests that I use volume up/down to move highlight etc, but my remote isn't even functioning on the recovery menu.

How the hec am I meant to proceed with this if remote stop working at this point.
Can anyone please kindly guide me through this process as I've been stuck on this for a very long time.

Yeh the IR remote may not be supported by the recovery. Try plugging a PC keyboard in the USB, and that should be able to navigate it using the arrow keys, return, space, esc, etc.
