M8 tv box making tv unresponsive

Hi guys I've got an m8 tv box. And last night it was working fine and dandy. Today the tv won't respond if the android tv box is turned on. Like I can't click anything on the tv remote or the tv itself. As soon as I unplug the box the tv responds.

Perhaps your TV is auto switching to an active hdmi input.
Try changing the TV source from the TV or remote.

The actual tv wont respond to anything until the tv box itself is switched off, it doesnt even matter if I unplug the HDMI. Its ever so strange.

I plugged another box in last night and it worked for 10 mins the the screen went funny. But the boxes work 100% fine on my pc monitor
