M8S S812 NEED XBOX CONTROLLER

Hi guys,

I tried searching for threads related to my model and the xbox controller and no results. I must be doing something wrong because I can't be the only person with this issue.

I recently purchased an M8S S812 from Geekbuying on amazon.ca.

I would like to use my corded xbox controller for gaming. When it is plugged in the xbox button flashes but otherwise no other response.

Can someone please help me with this, it would be very much appreciated.

Is it supposed to work with that?

AFAIK an Xbox controller is used with an Xbox, which is supported by Microsoft obviously.

Everywhere I read on other websites and on youtube the xbox 360 controller is android compatible.

Xbox controllers are just generic USB devices so they should work on anything.

However, the only success I've had with an Xbox controller is via the micro USB port using an OTG Cable. Have you tried that way?
