Help M9S problems

Hey I just recently purchased a M9S tv box and i cant get it to play anything from Movies to sitcoms aftrer two hours of attempting to get a movie we ended up giving up ;
Is there a help page for this or any support groups

This a cheapo box you bought online and shipped from Hong Kong? Sure it's connected to the internet and online? Are you in the UK or Ireland? If so, the illegal pirate streams are blocked and banned by the ISP.

it may be cheap, we are in Canada if that makes a difference.

Where you are can make a difference. Are you trying to watch Showbox or Genesis or some other illegal pirate stream services, that these cheap things come loaded with? Do ISPs block and censor illegal copyright infringing sites and streams in Canada, like they do in the UK and Ireland?

I'm in China, and I have to use a VPN to watch YouTube videos.

If it were blocking, would it block all ? I m not sure and I am not very up to date on the technology, either.
We do get some stuff to watch but few and far between. its quite frustrating actually

Could be the information about available streams is out date, and needs refreshing. How you do that, I have no idea as I don't have one of these things.

Illegal sites and streams might not be around too long, before the ISPs catch up and block them, or they're seized by the feds for criminal copyright infringement, etc. And so they're often changing, and it's rather like a cat'n'mouse game.
