MAC doesn't recognize Galaxy S4

My MAC does not recognize my Galaxy S4. Any solutions?

Also not sure how to download music. I now have some in the MP3 player and some in the play music app. Not sure what I need to do to get them all in one place?

Hi Michele, and welcome to AF

Try downloading Google's Android File Transfer tool for the Mac. This should let you view files on the phone and copy between phone and Mac using the Finder.

Personally I just copy my music to the "Music" folder on my phone's sd card and let my preferred music player app load it from there. I've never used Play Music myself though, so can't really help with that myself.
