Phone is not rooted, nothing has been changed from stock. Since this morning it wont turn on wifi. Tried to factory reset twice, didnt work. It says that MAC address is unavailable.
As the MAC address is an identifier tied directly to the WiFi chip soldered to the motherboard inside your phone, it's also something of a hardware issue. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAC_address
If your phone has a user replaceable battery you might want to try removing the battery for several minutes, there is the possibility there's just some glitch involved and pulling the battery should clear it.
You might also want to restart your phone into its Recovery Mode and wipe the system cache partition. That's a bit of a long shot but it won't hurt anything to try. (The system cache is different than app caches so clearing the system partition won't affect your personal data.)
