what do you think which is better

Well, this topic does have a way of showing up from time to time, and usually it doesn't end well because people are really strongly opinionated about this, or something.

I like all three, in their own way. I like linux the best. I can do whatever I want. Windows is nice in that it's good to know and a lot of applications require it.

I actually have only used os x a few times, and I was lost (because I don't use it). But it looks really nice and is unix, so it's solid. And, I confess, I'd love to be able to screw around with garageband for a month or so

Which do you think is best?

This topic always ends up with a lot of aggravation and requiring a good deal of monitoring. There really isn't a need for another can of worms to be opened.
