I've added the MagicBook.mobi to my Kindle Reader library on my Android HTC Glacier (aka T-Mobile MyTouch 4G). Tapping on a book link is supposed to download the selected book to the Android. However, I get an error message when I tap the link:
This content is not supported on this phone.
No application can be found to open this file. Do you still want to download it? Download (or) Exit
This error message flashes only very briefly, and then closes before I have a chance to respond. In fact, I had to touch the link multiple times to reconstruct the error message. Weird.
I decided to install and try another browser (Opera), and, low and behold, tapping the same link offered me a choice of the built-in Android browser or Opera. If I choose Opera, it then will give the offer to download and all is nice. But, why doesn't the built-in work? It's becoming academic, I realize, as the Opera browser allows me to place the file wherever I want it (Kindle directory), but I thought I ask if others have found the problem and a solution as opposed to a different browser.
Many thanks.
