Magnetometer...?

I don't know if the onboard magnetic field sensor is sensitive enough for it to be used in any real way for something like this, but I was thinking of a magnetometer like Ghost Hunters use on their investigations.

Also, if anyone could figure out the tech behind it, a K2 meter would be cool.
