Mail app problems

Hi there

I've got a bit of a problem with the mail app on my HTC Sensation XE.

For receiving mail, it's great - but I've got two problems with sending mail...

  • Sent mail isn't syncing sent items to sent folder. I can't assign sent items, deleted items etc to specific IMAP folders. Is that possible?
  • It won't put in line breaks when I send mail. It all just sends as one big lump. Any reason why?

Because it's not copying mail to the correct folders, I'm worried it may not be sending it at all. Please can someone advise?
 
I don't know about your specific issues, but I had several problems with the Mail app that comes with the phone. It wouldn't download messages (they would be blank with a date of 12/31/1961) and it often re-downloaded messages I had already read. I finally ditched it for the K-9 Mail app and all of those problems went away. That stock Mail app seems to be junk.
