Mail not working on Samsung galaxy

i have tried to send and receive mails to/from my phone and for sending it seems to be saying the server has not read the mails (in my outbox?). They are stuck in my outbox. When I send an email to the mail box which I have connected the mail app to, I seem to get a notification it's arrived but won't arrive but they have arrived on my iPad mail app. Any help appreciated. I have even added the phone to the google devices setting and that has worked ok. Thanks.

So you're trying to send an email, and it says that it's not delivered, but in truth it is delivered?
Or does it only send to certain accounts?
What email app are you using?

Thanks, I'm using the app that came with the device a white envelope with a red @ sign in it.
I have sent an email to my gmail account from another email account and it has arrived in my iPad but it has not arrived on my phone. In fact in the app there does not seem to be an inbox at all. If I click "show all folders" I get drafts, Outbox (with 4 unspent mails), Sent (none), and Recycle bin. If I click "Load more emails" there are none. Thanks.

Thanks for clarifying.
Two things to try:

1. Go into your phone settings, scroll down to 'accounts' and press on it, then press on 'email' it should say 'sync on' under your email address. If it says 'off' then go ahead and turn it on. Now check your email and see if everything is fine. If that doesn't help, try option 2

2. Clear data of the email app ( this will only delete any unsent emails, everything else should stay) go into settings, find application manager, in there find email app, press on it, in the storage tab, press clear data and confirm. Then open the email app and set it up
