Maildroid settings question

In the inbox it divides the mail into days of the week, e.g.

YESTERDAY

WEDNESDAY
mail item

Which is a screen space waste. Any idea how to get rid of this behaviour?

That is how it was designed. Right now, there is no way to change this.

I kinda like that layout

However, I was wondering...is there any way you can add an indicator for the navigation icon to state how many unread emails there are?

FYI...Very happy with my switch from K-9 to MailDroid. Never could get K-9 to get Yahoo email 'push', though it worked immediately with MailDroid. And...MailDroid dev is QUICK to respond and very helpful.

Thanks - I still think Maildroid is the best so far. Plan to make the jump to paid soon.
