Majesty: Fantasy Kingdom Sim help

hello guys I can't beat the "oh where are you trolls ?!" stage, any help ?
it's the one where you're supposed to defend trolls' homes (at least two of them).
I'm not sure I fully understood the objective of the mission

You defend at least two troll homes until all the waves of spiders have come.

In other words, play and defend until the mission ends. I think I took around 30-40 days to complete it.

samuelkyl is right. I had some trouble with this mission as well, thinking it was broken and just wouldn't end. Eventually I'd lose it due to the troll lairs being destroyed.

I've found that building and upgrading two marketplaces as soon as possible makes a huge difference since money is seriously required to do much of anything. Once you have a good cashflow you can crank out guild's/temples and upgrades to position you to be able to fend off the enemies.

thanks guys for the support, it's been two weeks since I'm trying to beat this stage but now that I know it was hard for you as well, I'm more confident.

Try building a high-health building (warrior guild for ex.) near the two troll caves closest to your base. When enemy comes, they will attack your building instead of trolls' home.
